Open-Air-Bühne Pfefferberg

Honestly, I'm not sure exactly which Pfeffer institution I should be placing this review under. My understanding is that this complex houses a restaurant, hostel, possibly another restaurant, maybe a club, etc. (I am referencing the location on Schoenhauser Allee).


MY experience of it was simply as a biergarten, ordering beers from the beer stand. Elevated from the street, and surrounded on three sides by buildings (in various stages of renovation), it was a nice, congenial courtyard in which to have some beer, isolated mostly from the Schoenhauser Allee noise. It doesn't compete with Prater, but beats out whatever the biergarten at Kultur Brauerei, close by, is called.
