Aside from the unique art which was pretty cool to look at,
The service was horrible. We were in a group of 4 and only two of us ordered drinks. Apparently, everyone had to buy a drink which is straight up bullshit. The waiter was extremely rude about it and communicated this to us in such a dick way. He called us cheap tourist and threaten us to leave. He even accused us of not buying a drink after he came to take our empty cups. He made us feel so uncomfortable! It seems like this place is for locals only because once we got up to leave, everyone kept looking at us and saying " cheers" or "bye".
Don't not come here if you want these mother fuckers to kill your vibe.

      Terrible service, rude waitress.
They have a stupid rule that everyone must order something. We were in 4, 3 have ordered, 1 girl was gluten intolerant, they didn't have any glutenfree beer, so they didn't allow us to stay.
Besides that, the waitress communicated it in the worst way possible and telling us to go away.

And no idea why this place has Blues in its name, it just plays generic hip-hop like any other place in Amsterdam centre.

We started out just enjoying a few spliffs, but stayed around to talk to the random people who stopped by the table. So many nice people and interesting things to talk about.

We decided to get some drinks and make a night out of it. Amusing and sometimes confusing conversations with the staff gave us a special bond to the situation.

After many many small and medium moments had passed, I felt peckish and sought the bar for snacks in the form of deep fried potato flakes or nuts. I spied with my little eye sadly no such savory treats. However, several bananas caught my attention and I knew I had to have one.

I argued and plead with the barkeep, but he would not budge, and exclaimed that alcohol was his product, and no banana would he sell. I gave up, and ordered a beer, but with one final grasp at hope, I asked to please get a banana with my beer. It was undoubtedly a chortle, and I decided to tip him handsomely for the distraught I had caused him. But, lo and behold, as I turned around to tip, I see a singular banana resting at the counter, offering the satisfaction that I so had sought.

I returned to my table, certain that both our outlooks would be irreversibly be changed by this encounter.

Small spot and cramped walkway to the back so we stayed towards the front and even got to sit by the window where the kitty sleeps. My friends were able to order rose and shots while we visited this coffee shop too. Security was nice and friendly. They do check IDs.

What an awesome spot! How have I been coming to this town for 6 years and never been here? Shame. On. Me.

This place is just so cool. You enter into a bar area. It's a decent size area, with bar stools, a window seat and tables and chairs. You can stay alao go to the smoking area where there is a pool table. I'm not sure if there's a fee (I'm sure there is) Ti play pool. There are a bunch of tables and couches to relax in. There is a room downstairs as well. In the pool table room next to the bar, you can smoke. But no cigarettes, only weed. I think the downstairs is where you smoke cigarettes. Anyway, this was such a great place to chill. Prices for drinks, which given the location (heart of red light district), is surprisingly cheap, €6 for cocktails. The music here is good too. Lots of places have been playing really bad music, I like what they play here. Also, free wifi! I've been here at least 4 times and will come back here every time I come to Amsterdam. You just can't beat it!!!

Nice little place to relax and have a drink or smoke. I'm not judging but whatever is your choice it's totally up to you and they don't seem to care either. You are in Amsterdam so everyone is use to it here I'm sure. Graffiti and tagged up walls all over and even on the furniture but it gives this place a really cool artsy type of vibe. We were walking in the streets and just so happen to stumble across this place. A definitely fun place indeed if you're in Amsterdam. Can't say I really remember the music being played here if there was any kind at all. Welcoming people and crowd.

My favorite bar in Amsterdam. First came in 1996 when it was a coffeeshop, but even now as a very smoker-friendly bar, it's one of the best hangs in the city. Highly recommended!

Very cool atmosphere to get smeared in. Lots of graffiti and a window out to the canal. Clean bathrooms surprisingly.

I forgot where it was I took this photo.

This is a great dive bar in Amsterdam!! The people are friendly the drinks are good and moderately priced you can't go wrong here. From the moment you walk in you definitely feel the awesome vibe. This is definitely a hidden gem.

I read a ton of good reviews on other sites about this place, saying they served all sorts of different smoothies and snacks and had bean bag chairs and comfy leather couches and played chill music. I took some out of town visitors here to try out the smoothies and was pretty disappointed at what the place actually looks like vs. the positive reviews and we left immediately.

There were no bean bag chairs, no smoothies available anywhere from what I could see, and the whole place had sort of an aggressive vibe to it. There was no place for our group to sit because they were pretty full on a Wednesday night, so they obviously get lots of business, but it didn't feel like a very friendly place. The music was very loud, the place was hard to breathe in even though they had windows open, and the only seating they had in front were hard chairs at tiny tables, and one big leather couch in the back that was totally full of people. They have a downstairs room too, and that was also pretty crowded. I can't speak to the quality of their products, but if you get something here, be aware that you might want to enjoy it somewhere else.
