Went here for a birthday breakfast on a Wednesday. Very quiet down in the Strip District. Walked in and greeted with a smile from Betsa.
I had the South Omelette very good and full of filling. My daughter had the Caffe Crepe with a side of Fig jam. The jam cut the richness of the Brie perfectly.
As it was a birthday got a little treat as well. Thanks Betsa!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 2229279524 déc. 2023
Great brunch! They have savory crepes and also omelette savory crepes if you want to add egg to make it even more filling. I got the farmer savory crepe which has the egg and also chicken, and it was very satisfying. It also comes with a side of salad and chips. Left very full and happy!
The vibe inside is really funky and quirky. We were seated inside but they have a really cute back patio with the colorful umbrellas people always talk about. Lots of seating inside and we didn't have to wait too long to get seated which was nice. Would recommend if you're looking for a solid brunch spot in the area!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22717454025 nov. 2023
Service 10/10: The staff was so nice and accommodating.
Food 6/10:
- Bacon, egg, cheese was good but they only give you one egg so it wasn't as filling as I hoped.
- Elvis crepe was good but the inside was a solid banana not cut up which was hard to eat. The bacon and banana combo was surprisingly good though.
- Coffee was average
Ambiance 6/10:
The tables are close together so we could hear others conversation next to us. Also it is cold from the door opening and closing. The breeze was harsh and chilling. I wouldn't sit next to the door if you are usually cold. The decor is cute though. The paintings on the wall are for sell.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 15648762730 mars 20241 check-in
When my parents were in town for Easter, but Cafe Raymond was unexpectedly closed for spring break, we ended up at Caffe Mona. The ambiance is a combination of hip (rainbow umbrellas on the ceiling and colorful pop-art portraits on the walls) and nostalgic (Sinstra playing loudly on the speaker). The menu is varied, and the coffee is good. The omelets are plenty of food, but the kitchen was slow for how few customers there were at open on Saturday morning, and when the food came out, it was barely warm. The berry/goat cheese crepe was not filling, so I ate the rest of the generous serving of (lukewarm) eggs that came with my husband's 3 half pieces of toast, We also spent $4 each for the coffee and tea(!), which is clearly a money maker for them.

This is a great brunch place if you want a small plate or crepes! The service was good and the ambiance is nice. Love the location also in the great strip district! I enjoyed the Nutella banana crepe - it's made differently from other crepes I've had before.

VERY good service, and real welcoming vibes. The staff was more than kind when they corrected an under ripe banana and let us try a new dessert. Not entirely impressed with some of the ingredients like the croissant or the bacon, but the crepes are delicious

Detailed Review:
Berry French Toast: 5/5
Very good. No complaints for this one.
Chipotle Chicken Sandwich: 1/5
I normally like chipotle flavored things but I really didn't enjoy this. The bread was too hard, the chicken was dry, and the flavor was bad. Also not a fan of the salad dressing.
Oat Milk Cappuccino: 1/5
Not sure if they actually use espresso but there was almost no coffee flavor. It looked cute and it came with a wafer. (I could have done without it)
Overall, the place is eclectic and I can see why people recommend it but it just wasn't for me. I recommend the French Toast but I'd go elsewhere for coffee first.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 3052220 févr. 2024
Come here only when the lines are too long at Pamela's and DeLuca's and you have to put something in your pie hole.

This was somehow our first time at Caffe Mona. Small, brightly decorated spot with real, homemade food. Loved the side salads with the meals and seasoned chips. Friendly service; we will definitely return.

My partner and I enjoyed breakfast here on Sunday. We were surprised to find no wait - and only one other family at a table when we arrived. It was cozy and quiet, which isn't always a given for a weekend brunch. The scrambled eggs were great, and I was served a huge portion. I would have appreciated more butter and a second packet of jelly, but I'm assuming they would have been happy to provide them if I had asked. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his savory Farmer crepe, which was huge and came with a side salad. We also liked that the coffee came with a wafer cookie.
