Solid 3.5 stars. Everything was good. Not great, but good. We had high expectations, but we were not wowed by anything in particular. The amuse bouche was ok, but one of the items had a shell that seemed almost stale. We opted for ala carte rather than the tasting. I started with the crab appetizer which was fresh, but uninteresting. The main I had was the beef fillet. It was very standard, and while it was seasoned well, the beef was not a melt in your mouth kind of feel and was a little lackluster.
My husband started with the lobster pasta appetizer which was good, but missing some seasoning. His main was the lamb which was well done, but nothing unique. Wanted to save the meal with a great dessert, and while it was very good it still confirmed that this was more a 3.5 star than 4. Service was good, but overall was a bit overpriced for the entire experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jared A.Miami, États-Unis3173521 févr. 2018
Intimate sophisticated French dining. The food was amazing and I can't even repeat or pronounce what I ate but it was all amazing!

Having dinner at Dominique Bouchet, a Michelin restaurant, was a highly anticipated dinning experience for me. I started with the pumpkin and Foie Gras soup, along side fresh baguettes. I ate every last drop of this delicious soup. My entrée was a beautifully platted, appetizing skate fish. The dish was thoughtful in both texture and flavor. The mini croutons gave texture and capers for a nice enhancement of flavor. Ending my meal were an apple tart and petit four. I enjoyed the selection of petit fours; however, my tart was served cold and flavorless. In the end, the experience and food at Dominique Bouchet were amazing. I would recommend this restaurant while traveling to Paris.

The maitre d' accommodated us last minute on a weeknight for a 9:30pm reservation. Once there, the staff welcomed us warmly and treated us with care and efficiency throughout our dinner. The menu is streamlined with multiple enticing entree selections. A surprise amuse bouche of prawn preceded our dinner. Beginning with the foie gras, which the kitchen split, the meal was exceptional. Our selected entrees of the beef filet and pigeon exceeded expectations with their simple presentations giving way to robust flavors and careful culinary precision. Not to be outdone, the coffee soufflé with chocolate ice cream proved to be an ideal ending to a perfect meal. A small tray of petit fours was a welcome addition. On this rainy night, the staff called our taxi and ushered us to the car under an umbrella. Truly a five-star effort by all of the Dominique Bouchet staff.

The food was so good that we forgot to take pictures. Once again my in-laws picked one of their favorite Parisian restaurants for us to experience. Dominique Bouchet's Michelin star restaurant certainly did not disappoint. The restaurant was full and many were enjoying the tasting menu which was a little adventurous for some of my party. Pigs feet and beef tail which I'm sure were marvelous were part of the selection. Our table chose the braised bream and the delicious lamb which was cooked for 7 hours and simply melted my mouth. The waiters were young but well trained and Chef Bouchet was the star of the evening. He spent quality time at each table and had us all smiling. The deserts were fantastique - especially the molten chocolate cake. When Chef Bouchet discovered it was my father in-law's birthday he brought us all a glass of champagne. An outstanding evening, merci Chef Bouchet!

Small French style restaurant. The service is good and warm. There is no view. The food is good. Some fiches were better than others. However, there is wow effect and there was no effort for the dishes to be exotic. Does not worth a second visit. Well priced.
