Located across from the University of Cologne Music School, this small restaurant is a good place to grab a quick bite to eat or to choose from their wide assortment of snacks. Patrons are often music students, both international and German, and the atmosphere is casual with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
It's not fine Korean dining but just a simple place for university students to eat a hot lunch or dinner. Meals cost on average 5-7 Euro, with plenty of noodle, rice, or meat dishes to choose from.
For patrons new to Korean food, I would suggest trying the Bibimbap (mixed rice, meat and vegetables in a hot stone bowl)- it's slightly spicy, but you can ask them to reduce the hot pepper sauce if needed. The soups were also good.

Another plus is that they offer a variety of great drinks and snacks, including plenty of Korean beverages and snacks- a must-try!

This is not the place to take a date or to go out for a nice meal, but it's a great place for students or those looking for a casual lunch or dinner.

Excited to see Korean near my Airbnb in Köln. They were out of everything so I go the dolsot bibimbap and the cook told me it'd be ready in one minute. Uh, really? With the egg as well? I grab a bottle of ocha and she gives me my order. Bibimbap is simply not good. First, aside from the egg, it's vegetarian- every bibimbap I've ever had in Canada and the US has had the option (sometimes the default option) of beef in the mix but there was none here. Second, the egg was apparently pre-cooked and was almost hard. Third, the stone bowl was only warm! It should be dangerously hot so the ingredients cook and acquire a delicious crust- and the RAW or RUNNY egg cooks too- this was just a warm bowl.
