Housing beautiful cultural and architectural elements, where the healthful coexists with the decadent, the Drake Hotel is our version of a downtown urban retreat. We've created a cultural lodge where music, art, warm hospitality and exciting culinary experiences all intersect to provide travellers, culture seekers, neighbours and style makers with a one of a kind experience. Filled with thoughtful contradictions and an intriguing intersection of new and old, Drake houses a popular Lounge, busy Dining Room, live music in the Underground, luxe crashpad hotel rooms, neighbourhood-friendly corner Café, urban vegetable garden, General Store and a year-round rooftop Sky Yard patio. Come join us for dinner, cocktail, art or just a simple chat. We'd love to see you. X[OH!] The Drake

Lovely experience staying here - the details are on point! The Drake knows how to design a space and everything from the lobby to the bar to the hallway to the bathrooms was whimsical, modern, and colorful in an intentional way.
We stayed in the modern wing and the rooms were good sizes with beautiful finishes and a clean, well designed bathroom. Everyone working at the hotel was very kind and helpful.
You absolutely have to stop by the hotel bar one evening. The bartender is awesome and extremely knowledgeable about what he does!
The Drake is also located in one of the best neighborhoods of Toronto. There are so many cute restaurants, wine bars, coffee shops, and thrift stores nearby.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 7 nov. 2023
First time trying high tea! They only offer it on Sundays and it was pretty affordable compared to others in the city at $45/person
It may not look like a lot of food but we were both stuffed when we finished. Favourite was the jerk chicken sandwich.
It a cute place inside and there was live music playing. We were seated quite close to the tables beside us which wasn't a great experience for us as it felt cramped.
Overall a good first experience for high teaHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 27227681016 mai 2023
Came here for a Sunday bachelorette boozy brunch and it didn't disappoint!
Food- high tea towers filled with savory, scones and sweet at the top. Accompanied by tea (various variety of flavors to select from) and bottomless mimosas if you would like to opt in for!
The server did a great job catering to the table, organized and informative. Made great recommendations and was friendly!
I would definitely come back with a group of girls or family or even a date!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - 30523868312 déc. 2022
Went with a group of 4 for a Bachelorette and it was definitely a great location to start off our night! When we said what we were celebrating we got a free round of champagne to start, and shots from the server before we left which was awesome!
Food:
Appetizer - We got the spinach dip. It was so small for the price we paid.... It came with about 5 crackers to go with a very small thin dish of dip. Not worth it in my opinion.
Entree- Got the burger and fries and man... there was sooo much fries. Definitely the better value since had food to spare.
After our dinner they told us the space was turning into a club vibe, and there was also a place downstairs to dance.
Unfortunately we had plans elsewhere, or would have been a great spot to check out. Especially since we were already in, so we wouldn't need to wait in line in the cold.
Would come again for another special event.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16 sept. 2022

You don't understand how in-love I was with this. It looks simple, but no... The food is great. Considering it's also a hotel, you'd think the food is the least of their focus...
No, this was amazing.. Slept like a baby after. Also, I'd recommend getting one of their cocktails!

Had a quick bite before a concert at the underground and the goat cheese crostini was to die for- it had arugula, pomegranate, sunflower seeds, balsamic, juicy fresh figs and goat cheese on sourdough bread. I also go the Carmel coconut latte and it was sweet but not overly so. The server was really friendly and we got our food pretty quickly. We were seated upstairs and it was a little cold but more private than downstairs.

This place is extremely dingy and dark and their restaurant is expensive and low quality.

We always enjoy coming to the Drake. The vibe is great, the food is delicious and the staff are wonderful. Always a special time! Everything we ate was great but the chicken soup was exceptional!!
