At the Door: The bouncers are impolite. They turn men away for being even slightly intoxicated, which doesn't make sense since this club is a place to go when the neighborhood pubs have closed. Anyone who's been at the pubs will have been drinking. I paid 12£ to get in.
Inside: spacious. Familiar hip hop played by DJ. Average drink prices. Good atmosphere. Menacing unfriendly bouncers visible everywhere, but drink until you don't feel their scowls and you might have fun.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Amy S.Venice, États-Unis356824557 août 2012
Grumpy security at the queue. Pricey to get in. Drinks were average priced. They only play top 40 cheesy hits. It's a meat market.
On the plus side... they had a light up dance floor!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Armando L.Londres, Royaume-Uni0121 janv. 2018

Against my better judgement, I found myself in this lovely place again. It was a double birthday and Putney was chosen as the location for us to celebrate in style. Fez being the only club in Putney, it was pretty obvious we were returning.
45 minutes of queueing and 3 of our party getting refused entry (over 21s policy, I was actually happy with this) I parted ways with £15 (WHAT?!) and entered the downstairs dungeon... again.
This time was actually much more fun, maybe it was because everyone was in the mood for a good old dance. The light up dancefloor, whilst still sticky and ull of broken glass, didn't fuss me as much. I even went as far as paying £8 for a jagerbomb (I then decided against spending anymore money in this place!) It was packed (1 in 1 out gave us the 45 minute wait) but the music was good, the vibe was brilliant and it was open until 4, so a perfect place to dance the night away.
My last review gave this place the pitiful 1 star, I revise that now... take off 2 stars for the wait time and the price, 1 more for the sticky floor and the girl with really high heels on that kept standing on my friend's foot. You're getting there, Fez!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 028 août 2013Avis précédentI love spontaneous nights out. Friends ring you on a Friday afternoon, everyone's had a naf day and an especially bad week. So why sit around drinking wine and moaning to yourself, go out and forget about it!! That was our plan last Friday night. It was a brilliant night, despite going to an AWFUL club.
Putney isn't renowned for its nightlife. Don't get me wrong, I love the place - I used to live there! Great bars, coffee shops, perfect location for the kind of person that loves the city but wants to live that little bit further than a stone's throw away. Not quite suburb though since it's zone 2.
Fez I've been to a couple of times, always against my better judgement. Stupid price to get into a sub par club with expensive drinks, average music (typical chart stuff but not well mixed together at all) and it doesn't feel all that big.
Putney offers better than this, turn it into a wine bar with late night licence and you'd be on to a winner - Stellio C.Earlsfield, Royaume-Uni2323223129 nov. 2008Prem's
The Fez is a great little nightclub in the Putney area. It all takes place within a styling, medium-sized venue packed with leather seating, nicely lit bars and a 70s-styled lighted dance floor. The music is crappy to average, with some of the pretty ladies on the dance floor even squealing "it's my song!" when the DJ plays Radio One's flavour of the week. This place looks after it's female attendees in terms of music and atmosphere, and as a result it's nearly always busy.
Weekends especially are packed at the Fez nightclub and its tiny entrance ensures all you see is a long snake of well-dressed people disappearing into the wall. Thursday nights are surprisingly good when the crowd's general age tips towards a little older. If you really feel like it, you could attend a raucous student's night on Wednesdays, but the thought of a hundred students sipping Jagermeister and getting loose to Beyonce Knowles doesn't really appeal to me.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Mark S.Washington, DC, États-Unis3142362727 juin 2012
I usually don't like clubs that much, but for some reason I had a great time at Fez. I was a little disappointed with the extortionate £14 entrance fee (considering most clubs on the King's Road are only £10), but I suppose since it's pretty much the only option in the area they know they can get it.
You won't get much house music at this place - it's mostly Top 40/hip hop, but that's actually the way I like it. Other than that it's hot, sweaty, with lots of broken glass on the floor, but that's what you get at a London club late at night when everyone is wasted. I'd go back with the right group of friends, but you have to be in the mood to dance.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Membre Qype (bright…)Londres, Royaume-Uni1149112026 févr. 2009
Phew, the Fez club. Often have I found myself at the end of the night dragging myself in here, dodging fights and expensive drinks at the bar.
That said, it does have a dancefloor which lights up, giving the rhythms a little more kick.
If you're in Putney, well worth a visit to say you've been, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a regular Friday night venue.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Membre Qype (maveri…)Oxford, Royaume-Uni42741931 oct. 2007
The Fez attracts the posh crowd of Putney and SW London. Think Inferno's or Crazy Larry's, but slightly more tolerable. The decor is pretty cool, but it does get rammed most nights. The doormen are rude and will think of any excuse not to let you in. Everyone here is either called Henry or Francesca.
In the Fez's defence, it is a fully fledged meat market. If you are looking to pull, there are few better places in London for finding a one night stand.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Membre Qype (glitte…)Londres, Royaume-Uni243030 oct. 2007
The Fez Club is hard to describe- it is what it is really. I neither like nor dislike Fez. It is, ultimately, a very small club in Putney that is a little too expensive to feasibly say anything good about it.
Fez is one of those places where you need to be very drunk and with a good group of friends to have a good time. That sounds bad but it's not meant to be- cheese is good sometimes!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Membre Qype (jaccd…)Dublin, Irlande87126 févr. 2011
Let's not beat around the bush, it's rubbish and expensive but at least it's open past midnight!
It's like £10-15 on the door, full of perves and grannies.....or worse still Pervy grannies, but you get drunk, you want to stay local and fez is basically your only choice
No doubt one too many lemonades will take me there in the not too distant futurHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
