Beautiful hotel!!! Love the staff and environment. My friend and I needed a place for the night and they were great. They speak great English and are courteous.

Since we found our make-over event princess for one day in 2004, we have been a regular at this really really nice hotel. I do not expect any of "our event locations" to roll out a red carpet for us. However, if they do for our customers who come to have a great time, it's appreciated. If the hotel understands that other than classic trade events we do not fly in participants from all over the world but host guests from their immediate neighborhood (= perfect targets to make them regulars for Sunday brunches and stuff ;-), even better.
So for years, we had a great time, last under general manager Stefan Schwind, who made our mutual customer feel loved and special every time we can.
Then, after Mr. Schwind's departure, sadly everything was a problem. When in our after event survey the hotel got really really bad ratings, we moved on. We tried to discuss the issue, no one really cared. This place is crazy cool!!! I don't know if my review can quite explain it but it's like a resort that has a maze rooms and themes for every section - it seemed like I walked a half from the entrance to get to my room - massive. It's like a mini classy convention center hotel.
So many places to explore in here with very nice high end amenities that I felt so grateful and excited to discover its charm. Well.....at least window shop the spa area cause I wasn't about to mortgage my house for the heavenly treatment.
Don't let me get stared on the food....I never tasted such tender beef that melts in your mouth - it's like the cow had the heavenly spa treatment before it got whacked.

I have been staying here for work for over a week now and wanted to acknowledge the brilliant service offered here. I would particularly like to mention the warmth of staff and the particular kindness of Nathaniel who went out of his way to offer me extra care when he observed that I was unwell after a long trip. He has made my stay feel like a home away from home , and is one of the main reasons I cannot wait to be back here ! Thank you Nathaniel!

This sprawling hotel complex is located close but not too close to the airport. They have a shuttle but arriving from the airport requires that it be summoned upon arrival at the stop, which can be a considerable wait (30-60 minutes) if rush hour traffic is present between the two. Taxi fare one way is about 35 euro.
Rooms are very well appointed; the deluxe room I stayed in had everything one could want. I loved the tanning shower.
There is a fitness center on the premises which was vacant every time I used it, typically midday. It had plenty of equipment and mats and ample space.
The onsite restaurants are excellent. The main bar/lounge has a somewhat limited menu. It was difficult to find a reasonable light snack (like fruit) inside the premises.

Das Kempinski Hotel liegt sehr idyllisch etwas außerhalb von Frankfurt an einem kleinen See. Manche Zimmer haben Seeblick (Bei der Buchung angeben, wenn man das mag). Das Personal ist, wie bei Kempinski üblich, überaus zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Das gilt sowohl für das Hotel als auch für das Restaurant. Leider war mein Zimmer im Stil der 70 Jahre eingerichtet und bereits sehr abgewohnt. Das Mobillar teilweise verschrammt, der Teppich abgelaufen und teilweise fleckig. Hier müsste unbedingt mal nachgebessert werden, was offensichtlich geplant ist.
