This place is what bar à vins in Paris are all about! Tiny restaurant with a bar in the back, the walls are lined with wine. Buy a bottle for your table or to take home. The one employee can recommend wines based on what you are eating or wines you just enjoy on general. All the wines are natural also so that was a plus for me. We had a red wine - Gamay with the salami...outstanding!
All in all, a place I hope to visit again and work my way thru the cheese listHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Phoebe L.Londres, Royaume-Uni16923574618 sept. 2015
Another super cute, tiny neighbourhood wine bar. This is the smallest one of all seating about 6 tables worth plus a very tight four at the bar.
Guaranteed 90% tourist free except for you. Like many wine bars in Paris the deal is- pick a bottle from the shelf, pay a small corkage, order share plates. Drink eat repeat.
The share plates were super generous and mainly revolving around meats and cheeses. I wouldn't recommend trying to get through the rillettes on your own...
The owner is part of the appeal in coming here and he is very knowledgeable and can talk about wines for hours.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ada C.Londres, Royaume-Uni2678603647 nov. 2015
This is a tiny bar à vins that packs a big punch in terms of atmosphere. The walls are lined with bottles of wine and there is a small counter at the back of the very small room with a beautiful red hand powered mechanical meat slicer.
The food is mostly premade, meaning there is no cooking done on the premises. You get a choice of charcuterie and cheese plus a smattering of preserved fish like tuna, sardines and mackerel. The burrata in particular is divine. Luscious pieces of creamy cheese and comes in a pool of olive oil and chinks of green and red tomato.
My one critique of the food is that the portions are way too big. I would have preferred the portions to be about half the size that they were. There were two of us and we ordered three dishes and could not finish it all. A small plates concept rather than such large portions would fare better with the wines that they are serving. Or come with at least four people!
Overall, a great experience.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Victor W.San Francisco, États-Unis3448502107 janv. 2015
Excellent wine bar that feels quite charming and cozy. There was only 1 employee around but he was very helpful (in English) selecting some food. The duck rillette was excellent and a good deal for the price given the sheer quantity and quality. We asked him to pair it with a white and a red wine which he did superbly.
It's the perfect place to catch up with someone or go on a date.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Membre Qype (Blondz…)Leeds, Royaume-Uni060712 déc. 2010
A part of me almost wants to keep this one to myself, as this is a hidden gem within Paris.
The place is essentially a wine shop, the walls bulging with a very fine selection of wines, from the modestly priced to the wallet sapping.
But what really brings it alive is the fact that inside are four tables where you can sample the wines along with a modest but superb selection of accompaniments. Duck rilletes are rich and savoury, the charcuterie is sliced to order by the owner with a hand-cranked contraption mere feet from the table. A selection of cheese and a vibrant, saffron-infused houmous were similarly excellent.
The service is provided by the owner, himself the character in the sort of heart-warming story that reinforces the joys of good food - as he left his architects trade after visiting, then deciding he must buy the place to run as his own.
The selection of wine was great, plus we got advice and a selection chosen to reflect our tastes.
The whole place represents the quintessential joy of eating in France. If you want a truly memorable meal, I can think of nowhere in Paris to recommend more highly.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bruce H.San Francisco, États-Unis2393911 sept. 2014
Here's a small, old, intimate Paris wine bar that specializes in natural wine. It oozes charm with cool music thrown in. The wine selection is impeccable and the service straightforward.
There's a limited cold menu of cheeses, oysters, sliced meats and the like. The focus is the wine and a place in the most frantic area of Paris that is calm and quiet.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Noah R.Valley Center, États-Unis34925317 mars 2018
This place is such a great find! It's a little charming shop that is very intimate. It has the classic Parisian feel that I'm sure everyone is looking for.

Terrible! I don't understand the stereotypical rudeness to American customers- we haven't faced that once since arriving in Paris. Thought we would try this place out since we were in the area after visiting Luxembourg gardens and wanted a quick glass of wine. We walked in, sat down, ordered 2 glasses of wine and the owner came over to ask what we wanted to eat. We said we weren't hungry and just wanted wine and he (in French when we obviously didn't understand) told us that we couldn't just drink, that we had to order food (we should have gotten up then and there!) and literally forced us to order a sausage plate... we were there for maybe 20 minutes and it was so uncomfortable. Plus we didn't touch the food because we had just eaten a couple of hours prior so it all went to waste. I understand if there is a wait for tables or it's crowded but it was 6pm and there were open tables PLUS I offered to sit at the bar. The other people in there were obviously French and none of them were eating... so basically, don't come here if you're American because the owner is an a**hole and doesn't appreciate paying customers :)

I wanted to stop in at La Cremerie the last time I was in Paris but the wine bar was not open. The place is teeny tiny and filled with locals. There are only six table and seating at the bar for four. Many people come for a dish or two to enjoy their amazing selection of wines.I sampled several wines including: Chateau Landra 2011 Ventoux Les Boutieres; Copines 2014 Jean-Lous Tribouley; and Cornas 2013 Brise Cailloux Matthew Barret. I enjoyed all of the recommended wines learned a lot about them from the very knowledgable owner/manager. The food selection is limited, but everything looked great. I had the Saumon fume des arcades (smoked salmon from Orkney islands in Scotland). The salmon was organic, free range, thickly sliced (more like sushi cut) and delicious. If you're looking for a truly authentic local wine bar, this is the spot!
