Worst management in San Sebastián- even though there were many seats available inside, manager did not let us in because we have a 2 years old baby. He said they are available today and point us to sit outside. Stay away.

If you are American craving a hamburger, don't order it. You will be very disappointed. Ceasar salad pretty good. Views are amazing. Service is pretty fast.

I think the best part of La Perla was the super nice guy working at the front desk. His English was great, and he explained everything to us in detail so we weren't confused when we got in.

The spa itself was decent, and the price was right. Normally, when I go to spas, the special spa water makes my hair and skin look and feel amazing, but it wasn't really the case at La Perla. I think this spa is meant more for the relaxation aspect than for magic water.

I wish the locker rooms were cleaned a little more frequently, but they weren't terrible.

I don't regret going, but I don't feel the need to go back.

I can't believe places like these exist! I first learned about San Sebastián by watching a YouTube video and learning that it has the highest amount of tapas bars or bars per square feet as compare to any where in the world, so I decided to come!!

Our Airbnb was literally facing la perla and the beach and upon becoming curious about this establishment, we decided to check it out.

My friend and I had no idea we were going to love this new discovery!

For about $39 USD we both got the 2 hour spa special which allowed us to use the facility: salt water therapy - more like where-has-this-been-all-my-life?! Lol

I took pictures and videos and shared it to my social media and I will blog about the benefits and my experience since I do have a health blog. (Thebeautyofhealthblog)

There needs to be more people who should know about this!

      Can you believe this view?

Thalassotherapy means the use of seawater for benefiting your health.

      Wonderful article below:

      https://www.google.be/amp/www.cntraveler.com/stories/2016-07-07/thalassotherapy-exploring-europes-best-saltwater-spas/amp

Time starts immediately at purchase and includes pre/post locker room preparation.

Co-ed locker room with changing closets within for privacy.  Pro-Tip:  Choose locker with key string long enough to wear around neck.

      Showers tolerable, hairdryers available.

      Price as of May 2017.
      2 Hours 27
      3 Hours 31,50
5 Hours 35,50 Only option that includes access to the gym.

      Swim Cap 3€

Visited 3 times during my stay in SB & well worth it.

      Suggested cycle by staff:

      - Main room - Large hydro massage pool area where focus is specific body parts at different stations (3Minutes per).

      - Side Pool area with calm to very intense full body hydro massage area similar to strong rapids or dangerous whirlpool in ocean.

      - Main rotunda circular hot tub.

      - Downstairs cooler pool w various exercise equipment.

      - Downtstairs Sauna / Steam.

      - Downstairs Cool Plunge (not cold whatsoever).

      - Relax anywhere or in d stairs water bed (not my thing) area.

      - Downstairs hydro hall way per your convenience.

Once a full cycle is complete I suggest doing a second but more streamlined.

The Pearl indeed and another perfect example why the massage, restaurant & whirlpool/hydro massage | steam/sauna options within deserve their own Yelp pages.

However, the moderators, folks at Yelp in S.F. won't / can't care to comprehend it this way.  As a result this is why my time as an active Yelp user will soon run its course.

Words cannot express how incredibly relaxing and therapeutically cleansing this place is. It's affordable. It's immaculate. It's welcoming. It's easy to understand how to get in and out of all the different pools in maneuver through the labyrinth to the best of your relaxation focus.

I've never experienced anything like this before and can only imagine ancient Romans bathing in the same vein.

I came in thinking I'd try the 2 hr seawater therapy pool bar the front desk woman didn't seem to understand what I wanted, which is fair because I speak little Spanish. Instead I opted for the aromatherapy massage. I paid $55 Euros for 40 minutes which isn't terrible but the massage only got about half my body and, despite asking for more pressure multiple times, was light handed. The massage included legs, feet briefly, back and neck. No attention for chest, arms, scalp or hands. Left feeling disappointed

Enjoyed a few hours on a rainy day with the hubs. Nothing luxurious, but great pools. Its much bigger than in looks from the outside. Not too crowded. We did not need a reservation (although recommended on busier days).

This spa was fantastic mainly thanks to its location on the most picturesque strip of beach in the area. Inside the spa is nothing special and a bit overcrowded. On the plus side it is ornately decorated from the outside and built in a brilliant Victorian style, blending perfectly with the rest of beautiful San Sebastian. Entrance is very cheap and we got very lucky with the weather! Fill those clear sunny days with adventures exploring San Sebastian and the Basque Country. Leave the spa for a rainy day and running straight out, plunging into the sea after the sauna will be a real treat!
