Molton Brown

Molton Brown at the Lowry outlet mall. I needed some hand soap and decided to go to the Lowry outlet to buy these products. These products are up to 40% off from buying them from the regular Molton Brown shop in the city centre. Inside it just looks like the normal Molton Brown shop and staff are very friendly and welcoming. If it's Molton Brown products you are specifically after then you should give this place a look first.

You're feeling a touch frazzled (and perhaps guilty) after all your shopping exertions - what better place to stop and recharge your batteries than here. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly; keen to encourage you to try products with no pressure to buy.


Deliciously reviving scents will provide a pick-me-up, as you sample items from their comprehensive aromatherapy-based ranges. You'll find many of their mainstream individual items and gift packs on offer, at favourable (below the normal retail) prices.


If you're a fan of their make-up, as I am, you'll be happy to find there's a good selection available. Although - unhappily - I discovered that they are discontinuing their make-up lines, so there's an opportunity to stock-up, in this outlet, while you can and at half the original price. There was still a reasonable choice of products during my visit in late June.

Another Rainy Saturday in Manchester so decide to go to the Lowry Outlet. Obviously a very relaxed athmosphere here as most of the stores dont open til 10am on saturday. This little store always draws me in to try some samples and usually buy some bathfoam or handcream. I love their giftpacks and there are a good selection of prices ranges.

Molton Brown is based in the Lowry Outlet Mall in Salford Quays. It loses a point for not having free parking - which is a bit poor for a shopping centre - as well as being extremely expensive!


Whilst the goods are nice I cannot justify those prices so it is more of a window shopping experience for me I am afraid. The shop itself is lovely and the staff are very friendly almost pushy but that is understandable as I can't see them doing much trade outside of christmas and valentines when there are cheaper shops in the Lowry Mall.


Still, since it is marginally cheaper than the high street Molton Browns if you do like their goods it is well worth a visit.
