A lovely pub in the outskirts of Wraxall / Nailsea area with a friendly and rustic atmosphere. The owner is a character and the drinks not unreasonably priced, so along with the roaring fire and 'interesting' wall ornaments it makes a good place to visit with your friends. Some of the old wooden chairs are uncomfortable although on the other end of the spectrum there are comfy leather sofas to sink into. How busy it is (and this place can get busy) dictates which you'll be left with.
It's worth noting that this place doesn't accept card, so make sure you bring enough cash with you to enjoy your night!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Membre Qype (Paulve…)Bristol, Royaume-Uni2671715 nov. 2008
The Old Barn is a great pub placed on the edge of beautiul Wraxall countryside with legendary status in Nailsea. There are always several specialty and local ales on offer and the bar staff are always friendly and willing to advise your weapon of choice. Theres great seating outside if you fancy soaking up the location or theres plenty of sofas and seating indoors if you'd rather sit with friends around the fireplace. Inside, as the name dictates, is a refurbished old barn with a great rustic feel and a fantastic set of decorations, from deactivated shotguns to old field ploughs mounted on the wall.
Its a great place to drink, and bear in mind it does get very busy in the evenings, but its well worth a visit with good friends for a relaxed and social evening.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
