I was referred to this salon about 6-7 years ago, and have not gone anywhere since. I always go to Lyna... her work is amazing. She always makes sure that my nails are perfect before I leave. I tend to be OCD/a perfectionist when it comes to my nails, and she kills it every time! She is a master at her craft, and always makes sure her customers are happy. I definitely will never go to anyone else (well, unless she one day ends up not working anymore!).
The salon as well, is a great atmosphere. Madeline always greets everyone, and makes sure everyone is welcome in her salon. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 5324367529 mai 2018
I walked in a few weeks ago to get an eyebrow wax and while the professional was courteous, the spa is pretty dirty and unsightly in the back where waxing takes place. They were courteous and kind to my dog, the wax was well done.
Today I called for a gel manicure. I arrived and saw the only manicurist available - I cringed because he was male, and my precious experiences with male manicurists have been negative. Same here!
He was rough on my nails scraping my natural nail beds down with a metal instrument and then used an electric file and created rough, uneasy edges and thinned down my nail beds while scraping off the old gel polish.
I asked him to shorten the thumb nail to match and he made a crude shape and left to retrieve another file. I took the file on the table and tried to smooth out the edges! His application of color was messy and my edges are unevenly coated and lumpy!
My nails are uneven, pointy and my nail edges are littered with rough spots and ridges!
He was very rough and grabbed my thumb with way too much pressure and balked when I asked him to remove the excess orange polish from my skin.
Needless to say, I walked out dissatisfied and he mentioned store policy is "cash tip only" and I never returned.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Shelby S.Los Angeles, États-Unis4205412423 juil. 2017
This spa is in a great location.. too bad their staff is not the best at their work- poor quality. My acrylics are a mess, glue all over my skin, when I've gotten gel they peel off right away.
Not to mention they are extremely overpriced for their poor quality service.
Staff isn't friendly. Save your time and money and go somewhere else for sure!!!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Karen B.Newbury Park, États-Unis1211420 juin 2019
The BEST! Love their gel manicure. The products they use - and the way them apply and remove the gel polish - allows you to have nice strong nails even with gel polish. They are the only salon to do it right! No nail damage - gel glides off - no sanding off of your natural nail beds. These guys know their stuff.

Underwhelming, mediocre service and substandard work, and for what you get I would venture to say it's overpriced. My mani/pedi lasted less than 3 days before chipping all over. The manicurist seemed angry that I changed my mind from doing a gel manicure to a regular manicure even though I told her before she even touched my hands. I asked if I could pay for everything with card before I even sat down and at the end of my service they told me they only do cash for tips and seemed pissed with their 20% tip.
Also while taking out the gel polish from my previous manicure the lady scraped my nail with her nail (?!), she didn't wait for the acetone to soak enough and then complained to me that they weren't coming out fast enough.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Haida J.Thousand Oaks, États-Unis243428919 juin 2018
One of my friend referred me to Chloe 4years ago. What I noticed is that she takes pride in her work, and she is very detail , quality work and clients comfort of are most importance.I have natural nails so she was gentle in how she worked. The icing on the cake for all of this is her positive attitude and customer service.
Relaxing music, clean and high class environment plus an amazing massage chair.
Chloe is my nail Profational since 4years ago and I highly recommend her.
Thank you for your great service Chloe.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Anisa R.Speer, Denver, États-Unis51636819 sept. 2016
This place looks above average for a typical California nail salon. It is an a higher end shopping area so to be expected. I had appointments for 2 pedicures at 10 am on a Sunday so it wasn't crowded. The polish selection was pretty slim and in the awkward tiered rolling thing that didn't allow you to see the colors. See pic.
I asked sat in the pedi chair (which didn't seem to have a massage function, or at least I couldn't find a controller for one) and was handed several laminated pages of services all at a $55 price point. I asked for a regular pedicure (which was only $26). Then I was also asked if I wanted callous remover (but had to ask if it was extra, which it was $8). The guy did a decent job of massaging but it was a pretty quick no frills pedi. See picture for how it turned out- polish on my skin.
I also asked for my fingernails to be soaked and explained they had SNS on them, not the same as acrylic. I had to ask no less than 3 times for them not to use a file to remove the product, that it just wipes off. Only one of the women working spoke English well enough to tell them what to do. I understand that they may not have been familiar with the product but I told them what I needed them to do several times.
My friend who also got a pedicure ended up getting gel and needed gel removed. When they charged her for the gel pedicure they forgot to add the $5 removal charge. When she asked if they could just charge it separately they said no, it was too small of an amount and asked for cash. She only had enough cash for a the tip and they said they would take it out of her tip since she forgot!
I'm taking off one star for the polish display and one for them not listening to me. I contemplated only giving 2 but I've seen way worse nail places before and the prices were reasonable.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Annie S.North Hollywood, Los Angeles, États-Unis273242215 nov. 2016
I appreciated being able to walk in, but the service I received was only alright.
The young man who did my nails was being watched by a guy in a button up so closely that I think he made my manicurist uncomfortable, as well as myself.
I got upcharged $2 because I guess this hand scrub thing was not part of the $18 manicure on the menu at the front desk. The hand scrub was alright. I didn't need it. It wasn't entirely comfortable.
The hand and arm massage was lovely! I nearly fell asleep.
I have little cuts on my cuticles from them being clipped. It still hurts 24 hours later. I hope I don't have an infection. The nail sander also was pushed over my skin on my pinky, which enhanced the stinging.
My nails look alright. A couple have been left crooked from cutting/filing. I could have done this at home probably.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Arbaæn Q.Los Angeles, États-Unis2321011 févr. 2018
Just walked in with no appointment for a mani and Chloe greeted and helped me. My nails came out perfect, she did such a beautiful job and it was pleasant to speak with her. She also choose the color for me since I am indecisive.

Honestly the worst gel manicure and pedicure.
It started peeling off the same day...they even had the audacity to charge to remove the gels that I came in with. Would NEVER go back again!!!! What a complete disappointment.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
