I would not recommend this place to anyone. Although the place was nice and clean and the service was friendly, I was not pleased with the quality of the massage.
I booked a traditional Thai massage, and found that it was just reminiscent of the real thing (which I have had often during the many trips I have made to Thailand).
Apart from using massage oil (which is not used at all in traditional Thai massage), the masseuse was unnecessarily brusque, spent most of the time walking on my back in a very painful manner rather than judging the right amount of pressure to place throughout the massage (and laughing out loud about the fact that it was too much for me), and if my memory serves me right, she did not seem to follow the general approach I have had many times in Thailand.
Furthermore, although at Sabai the typical pyjamas are provided, I did not feel my body received the respect that it should and as is typical in a Thai massage. The masseuse did not take care to cover the parts not being massaged and was not sensitive to the parts of the body she was massaging (ie too rough on the back, too much pressure around the coxis, and around the stomach). I know that Thai massage is very interactive, generates pain through the pressure placed on the joints and muscles, but this massage was just weird, and to be frank, I feel like they are not delivering the product they are selling.
This place is a no-go. There are others in Geneva which I hope to try and have a better experience!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
