Whenever me and my band play at the Pangea Project, we always go for a pre-show drink at the Birdcage. It really is the perfect place to grab a drink before playing, or seeing, some music. There is always a funny bunch of people who are curious about what we are doing with all our instruments.

Stamford Hill is a really cool area, as it is quite but quirky. At first I thought the revamp of the birdcage didn't fit in well with the area, but now I think Stamford Hill is eclectic enough to incorporate any pub. The beer is good, the wine selection is better, and the staff are great.

Somehow I was hooked up with a ticket to see the Arsenal vs. Man U premier league clash a few months ago. That is the problem with the Emirates, you have to be very lucky to get a ticket. I guess you can say that about all the big stadiums though.

I have to say, the design of the building is incredibly annoying, and it takes you forever just to get into the place. The food is crap and over priced, and you can't drink beer while watching the game, The only good thing about the place is the atmosphere. I don't think that the corporate nature of the new stadium has rendered the place quite.

There is something really romantic about Regents canal. I think it's beauty lies in it's murky and gritty nature. I'm not saying that it is really dirty, well actually it probably is, I just like the way the pathways are not particularly well manicured, and the water is not crystal clear.

If you come to the canal at the end of Broadway Market, you can either go left to Victoria park, or right towards Islington. Both walks are really amazing. The walk up to Islington is probably my favourite, as you can really witness the changing of areas along the way. Pay attention, and always be listening out for the abundance of cyclists who ring their bells.

First of all, I really don't like chain pubs. I just though that I would say that before I start. This particular Wetherspoons is not much different to the rest of them. I mean, it has the same menu, the same prices, and is completely devoid of character.

The beer is cheap, and so is the food. I guess I can't blame people for wanting to go here instead of an overpriced Hackney pub. Personally, I think it is worth it to sit down in a place with character and pay a little bit more.

The place is very big, but never really seems to be that busy. There is a weird semi-indoor smoking area, which has to be one of the most depressing smoking areas that I have seen in a while.

Wunjo Guitars is one of the many musical instrument shops located on Denmark Street. As with a lot of shops on the strip, and as the name suggests, it specialises in guitars.

Wunjo is particularly good for used and vintage guitars. The good thing is, they deal with a lot of different brands such as Rickenbacker, Fender, Gibson, Martin and more. They are happy to buy your guitars as well as sell you guitars.

There is nothing particularly remarkable about the aesthetic of the shop. It is quite like the other guitar shops on the street, not that it's a bad thing.
